The back and sides are done, it on to the top now. It will be LS Redwood.
This one will be ready for the Miami show.

Hesh, I have never had any luck using reverse linings on cutaways. So that is why the standard triangle liners for this one.

Thanks Lance, I found it.  I was pretty sure it was sinker wood, but I couldn't for the life of me figure out what the "L" stood for.  Little did I know I had the "S" wrong too!

Thanks Clinton, its really not that hard, I just go at them one tuck at a time. Measure, re-measured and measure again just to be sure! Cut, measure again, when its perfect, I move to the other side of the brace end and repeat

Very nice, Lance!  I haven't peeked into very many cutaway's.  If you have time, can you describe the geometry of your neck block (why does it look the way it does? :-)  It looks like part of the neck block is "floating" into the soundboard.  I have some guesses as to what it accomplishes, but they're just guesses.

Stuart, no real trickery there.
The neck block and side from the center to the cutaway edge is the same measurement as my fretboard at the 14th fret center to out side edge.
The block is wider on the top (non cutaway) side because that is simply the standard thickness of my blocks. I like the tongue to be a tad wider than the fretboard so that there is a strong bed for the board to lay on.
