I'm assuming you mean 200 dollars per set (not one set for pounds, one for dollars); if so, I'd like to take sets #2 and #7

Hi Joel,

I think the only problem with your photos not showing up is the inclusion of spaces in and between the image ("img") tags.

To show an example, I'll use curly braces ("{}"), where square brackets ("[]") are required.

You have this:
{IMG} http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y9/fingermoel/IMG_0418.jpg{ /
IMG}

and you need something like this (remove the space before .jpg as well):
{IMG}http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y9/fingermoel/IMG_0418 .jpg{/IMG}

and when you use the square brackets, you'll get this:

HTH,

Dennis

Thanks dennis.
i think you are right as on photobucket there are no spaces in the html.
but i coped and pasted streight from photobucket to the thread and the
thread seems to put the spaces in.
I have tried editing it by hand 4 times and everytime the thread updates the
spaces have been put back in.
This is very frustrating i have been at the computer all day i should be out
the back cutting wood and building guitars.
I will keep trying as its obviously possable.

Thanks again for the help dennis and kim.

Joel,

It appears you might be using Safari. If so, switch to Firefox or Camino. Should take care of the problem.

50th time lucky!!!!!

This listing is mainly for the uk and european members but i will ship tothe states if wanted.
I must warn however that shipping to the states is expensive from the ukso please bear that in mind when in regards to shipping.

The below quotes are for induvidual sets i will combine items and smalleritems will be much cheaper.
Shipping in the uk will be ?5 stirling or $10.
Shipping to europe will be ?12.50 or $25.
Shipping to the states will be $30 but i have a very good shipper who isinsured and very fast.
All items will be packed securley.

Right first up i have 6 malaysian blackwood sets.
This stuff is increadable and i absolutly love it if i could i would keep allthese sets for myself.
but i cant so i would like them to go to the artisans on this forum to beturned into the workes of art they deserve to be.
As far as description goes a crude one would be that this wood issomewhere between maccasar ebony and rio rosewood in terms of density and looks.
It very low acoustic damping is very stiff and stable and most of all is wonderfully dry.
they have been cut about a year and have been stickerd and stacked since.
the ends are sealed with chesnut endgrain sealer and they will wraped in industrial cling film foir there journey.

Right lets start with the blackwood .
All these sets are perfectly quarter sawn right accross the board both the backs an the sides.
These sets do fit my dreadnaught templates on them (back and sides) but the back is tight with only a few mm to spare for jointing.
My photo's DO NOT do this wood justice it is much nicer in the flesh.
Also these sets are streight off the saw and still has shallow bandsaw cuts.
Thease give the sets a lighter apearance to the color so i have scraped a small part of most of the sets to give an idea of the final color.
these cut markes scrape out very easily with a cabanet scraper or number 80.
The first pic is an example its the back of my current build to give you an idea of what the wood will clean up to.

This is an example pic NOT FOR SALE.

All set mesure - backs 21" x 205 mm wide x 5mm thick, sides 32" long x 125mm wide x 5 mm thick aprox (sorry for the metric its how we do it here in the uk).

Ok here is set 02

This is a nece set price $sold mattia

set 03

Price $200

set 04

price ?200

Set 05

Price $200

Set 06

Price $200.

Set 07,

price sold mattia.

I have looked around and this the cheapest that i have seen malaysian black of this quality.
This is a special olf price in the spirit of the swap meet.

By the way the lighter wood is not sap this wood has outstanding
varigation and i was very lucky to find a billet with this contrasting figure.
I think its outstanding and have never seen other sets like the before.

Next up we have matching malaysian black fingerboard and bridge blank.
again the lighter colerd wood is not sap.
Also the photo makes the wood look lighter than it realy is.

price $40 quartersawn
fingerboard 20" long x 75mm wide x 8mm thick, bridge 170mm long x 43 wide x 15mm thick.

Old Growth East Indian Rosewood electric guitar top.
This is not plantatian grown sonokling this is genuine old growth wood.
it has a wonderfull deep rich color that realy dosent show in the photo.
this will make an outstanding guitar top.
this peice is a bit pricey becouse its imposable to get old growth lumber in these dimensions becouse of the export restrictions that are rightfully imposed by the indian government.
this wood is exported as partly processed parts which i then resaw myself.
its a dream to work and looks wonderfull under a coat of nitro.

see below thread for pic

Price $110
175mm wide x 20"long x 14mm thick eah peice.
should make more than enough room for carving.
I have a guild sge template drawn on it.
I have a few neck blanks also but they are pricey.

Here we have some genuine english (scottish actualy) sycamore.
This is very fine grained stuff and looks wonderful streight of a sharp plane.
These sets have wonderfull figure but its realy hard to photo so you will have to partlt take my word for it.
English sycamore is genuine maple (acer psudoplatinus) and if want a proper explination of the wood and the diference between english and american i can let you know.

The first set UF02 has outstanding figure.
Realy large and very deep curl, this is a one of a kind peice.
There are a couple of pin knots in the sides but they are stable and no bigger than 3mm.

close up of the figure,

Price $80 dreadnought sized set.

set hf02.

beutyful fiddleback figure in the true sense this is infact the same wood as early fiddle were made out of this will make a stunning clasical. There is a bit of sapwood in the center seem which manifests as yellow staining you could either joint the other way round cut it out(if your doing and om or smaller) or it will disapear when a finish is applied (i know this from experience with this wood) priced accordingly.
Also the figure is almost impossable to photo it runs over the entire boanice and evenly but becouse it is still rough it hard to see.

the back

close up

with the sides

price $65
the back mesures 8 1/2" x 21 x 5mm the sides 31" x 4 3/4 x 5mm

with both these sets the sides are cut from the same billet as the back.
All perfectly quarter sawn.

I am happy to consider trades, some nice koa prahapes or anything else
you think i may like.

Thanks for looking at my items,

Joel.i am happy to consider trades, i wouldent mind some nice
koa or anything else you think would be a good trade.

here is set 3 $190

set 4 $190

set 5 $190

set 6 $190

All these sets are looking for a good home.

please be aware that my photo's are rubish and realy do not do these sets justice.
They realy have a wow factor when you see them in the flesh.

Oh and thanks again to dennis and kim for all your help with my computer problems.

Joel.
