Following up on the excitement of the Swap meet I thought id show a screen shot of the OLF Version 3.0

We are very very close to launching. Over this past weekend we tested the ability to post You Tube videos,(an awesome feature) and the edit function is working like a charm, not to mention a ton of other cool features!

Remember! UPDATE your email address in your profile IF YOU WANT TO BE EMAILED a Temporary password to enter the NEW OLF using your CURRENT USERNAME. You will still be able to get in with out your temp password, but you will have to re-register with a different username.

I'm sorry, but do we have to have those Turquoise letters on there?  You know I'm allergic to Turquoise, and my Mommy told me I shouldn't look at that color or I might go blind!  Maybe I'm confused.

Looks Great!  Will the PM database transfer?

Waddy, yes on the PM database, BUT there is one hitch, that is the NEW OLF will not allow as many messages in the PM as the old, SO what is happening is that your "new messages" will be held until you prune your old messages. Make sense?

Any idea how much pruning will be necessary?  In round numbers.

Sorry, I wasn't thinking.  I'm probably putting the cart before the horse.  I know you'll let us know when the time comes.

Thanks for all you and Brock are doing.

Right now it is set at a Maximum of 50 private messages per box.
This can be adjusted, but I would recomend that everyone prune your PM's if possible.

I don't know...this is getting too fancy. Too many options, choices, and too easy to use.
I think we need to make this more like the BBS's of old. Keep it really simple!

Rod - top of form, little abbreviations in boxes, one box says "Img".  I know it's brief, but, gee!

Actually, the [IMG] is for attaching a file URL from another website. The "Attachment" section below the post box is for file uploads, i.e. your inthread images.

Steve, Ill see if I can find a hand clapping smily just for Heshy!

To add to that, the file attachment section will allow us to manage the image file size with in a thread. It will make thumbnails automatically making for a better experience for our "dialup" members.

This is a cool feature.  It will solve a great deal of frustration with uploading photos.  My question is how big are the thumbnails?  are they the size of our little pics by our name?  Or, can they be larger, say, 3" by 4"?

Thanks Lance!
