It came in the mail last week. It's really good, essentially the first Fernandez video put on DVD, with some enhancements. I'll be sending it to af_one today, so it's as good as in the mail. No, really.

I must have missed this one...

Is it too late to get added to the list.

Yeah, I have my reasons.

The "I hate shellac thread" really got me thinking.

Yep, the Zinnsers Bullseye shellac I had used was "two years out of date".

And, besides all the great comments, I remember how much Frank Ford always loved the stuff. Matter of fact, he's the reason I purchased the Zinnsers in the first place.

So, I suppose it would be best for any luthier, to "mix his own". Shellac flakes, and alcohol.... That brings me to this DVD. Put me down if you don't mind.

I would like to get on the list too.  I didn't know this was going around.

Here's the current list. It's on its way to af_one at the moment.

burbank
af-one
jhowell
johnlewis
psl53
johnfry
Brock Poling
Bruce Dickey

Bruce, with this DVD you'll see the light!

I like both the zoot-under-glass look and the softer look of FP. Each has its place. I really like doing FP. Very tactile, lots of sensory feedback.

This thread has a post from Ron Fernandez and some good reminders about how making illegal copies takes revenue away from authors.

Gee, Dave, I almost could have hand delivered it to you. I'll be in Manhattan next week.

Thanks Zac
