The second to last picture of the guy with the banjo... I can't remember his name, but I'm pretty sure that's the guy whose house I stayed at when I took Harry Fleishman's class. He used to (or still does?) make the tone generators/amps/speakers for doing glitter tests and whatnot, the ones LMI used to sell.

Thanks Hesh!! Man I really wanted to go. Mom & her sweety have a small farmstead in Windsor. I would not even had to get a room.

More news and pics PLEASE.

That's cool, Hesh. I hope it was educational to have access to those other
guitars. I didn't even realize you were going. Did you get a chance to see
Matt Mustapick and his guitars? They look great and have lots of
complexity. What you noted about Ervin's guitars is something I noticed
immediately about the Traugotts. Very fast fundamental with complexity.
I was PM'ing with Kevin Gallagher about the players I suspect like them,
and I thought classical oriented musicians and players who otherwise
gravitate towards high music would love them.

We can talk about building and ask for tool ideas () all day long, but
nothing is as educational as playing and hearing the instruments in
person. After meeting Matt, Rick, and Jeff two weeks ago, I realized more
questions I would've loved to ask them. Thankfully they're a 2 1/2 hour
drive away that I make monthly to surf and not across the country!

btw, what the heck is going on outside on all the wood chips? It makes
me feel like I'm doing yard duty at the elementry school again, making a
bunch of 5th graders stand on the wall for running on the blacktop.

I saw this guitar and soundport evolve from the beginning. Definitely one of Kevin's best sounding guitars.
Amazing concept how the soundport is aimed at the players ear.

I think your right about the group photo.I`m thinking Ervin`s feet got that way because he uses them to tap his tops.Or if you look closely ,he`s been tapping bottoms.
               What do I know
