A guy called me today with a guitar that had thrown a fret(?)
I was amazed to find a Parker Fly with glued on frets (no tang or kerf) 3 of which were lifting and one completely off.
Well Ive done a look around on the web and of course this is no surprise.
The guy has had the guitar for a year played it rarely and we live in the Caribbean so i guess he wont be sending it back.
Anyone have any experience fixing this?
I found this comforting note on their website
Frets
Our patented fret and fretboard system consists of hardened stainless steel frets bonded to a glass and carbon fiber fretboard.
The frets may only be serviced at the Parker factory or by a factory authorized repair facility.
Fret service performed otherwise will void the warranty.cant wait to buy one myself......
