I have searched the forums including the archives, OLF Video Page, Sound Salon... Lance did a nice video showing his technique for cutting shell (abalone) strips. Does anyone know where that video can be found? Thanks, Dennis |

Dennis, go to Sound Salon at the top of the page. The shell cutting stuff is there. |

Thanks, Waddy, but I'm not looking for the inlaying stuff right now, I'm looking for the video where Lance shows his jig and technique for making shell strips. Dennis |

These may not be the ones you are thinking about, though. I just remembered them from a visit there. |

Here is one thread that Lance started, but D.L.Huskey showed his little sawing setup for cutting shell. I found it by searching for "cutting abalone". There are some other threads there too. Try "cutting mop" or "cutting m.o.p." too. You might get some more hits. |
