hello good people!
i'm gonna take a stab at it and say that heating poly to scrape it off of a 20 year old acoustic isn't a good idea.
this is the takamine i'd mentioned in my first thread. i was told to splint the crack and play away, to just leave it all blushed and accept that it plays very well and sounds great but won't win any beauty contests.
i've answered my own question haven't i?
