Let me first say that I have bought wood from almost all of the OLF sponsors that sell wood, and I have never been let down by any of them. Good quality, good prices, great to deal with. We all should try to do business with our sponsors.

Having said that, I do try to keep my eyes open for opportunities to get a better than average deal. I was recently, and pleasantly, surprised by some deals I got on Indian Rosewood from Exotic Wood Zone. The wood is very good quality, the pricing was great, and it shipped fast and safely. It is a bit of a gamble to deal with somebody new, but I had a good experience with this company, and would buy from it again if I saw it offering a great deal.

Just FYI.

They are located near St. Louis, so no issues in terms of shipping inside the USA. If you want to make sure the documentation is in order so that selling a finished guitar across borders is done properly, the sense I get from their website is that they are well attuned to CITES issues. They seem to be a legitimate importer and wholesaler of Indian Rosewood that is now dabbling in direct sales. I would contact them with any specific questions.
