The May 8th swap meet will be at the Seattle Blueridge Clubhouse. It a good space so we can set it up to encourage open mic or show off recent project or current projects. John Parchem will provide pizza and members are welcome to bring snacks and beverages.

Clear out your shop of unwanted tools, supplies and tone wood. You can try to sell or trade.

When: Tuesday, May 8, 2018
Where: Blueridge Clubhouse 10040 15th Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98177
Time: 7PM

Ah, I wish I could make this one to see everyone again—but have to travel for work.
I'm sure there are going to be some items I'd love to bring home.

Have a great time.

Well that was fun! I somehow managed to not spend any money! I did get to lay hands on Jay De Rocher's new dreadnaught, lovely! I look forward to hearing it in a month or two assuming he still has it in his position. I'm not hopeful, it's a beauty! GoergeL was there, always a pleasure! I know he spent some money, I'm thinkin he also sold a few things as well. John Parchem brought a couple guitars of his own and instigated a bit of a jam session. Also, John has agreed to let me sit in on the Gore-a-facation of his next guitar build. Sounds like that may be happening next week. Looking forward!

Until next month!

M

That was a fun event. Jay's dread was lovely indeed, as was your little 12-fretter, Michael. John had his personal guitar there as well. The room wasn't conducive to assessing tonal characteristics, but they all three sounded "good" and had excellent playability.

I sold everything I brought along, which will help create some space in my workshop. I left with $100 in my pocket, a beautiful set of waterfall bubinga that Jay had priced to sell, and a dremel router base that only cost me a buck! Works for me. [:Y:]
