I don't think I will ever be accused of having immaculate interiors with my instruments. I have heard too many great sounding guitars that look like a train wreck inside to put too much effort into cleaning things up. I try not to be too sloppy, but I would rather have things well stuck together than have every vestige of glue imperceptible. Small flaws (that little chip out or extra joints in the back strip) are not really flaws - they don't impact the integrity of the construction or the aesthetics of a handmade instrument.
That being said I don't think I will ever be selling instruments for astronomical prices to people who don't really play them. :lol:
