I'm happy to say that I have sold my fourth guitar! Seventh instrument of ten built so far. This one has been waiting for the correct home for a year and a half. I built it thinking that I'd like it as a traveling guitar, though I find that I just take my OM or a uke, so this was looking for a home.

It's based on a GS-mini, though I gave it a little extra depth (a mistake when trying to find a case to match!). Here's the stats:

Back and Sides: Peruvian walnut
Top: Sitka spruce with forward shifted, scalloped sitka X-bracing
Binding: Curly maple with black/white/black purfling
Neck: Peruvian walnut
Headstock: Indian rosewood
Fingerboard: Indian rosewood
Tuners: Gotoh 510 chrome
Nut and Saddle: Unbleached bone
Bridge: Indian rosewood
Scale: 23.5"
Nut Width: 1.75"
Finish: Nitrocellulose lacquer

Congratulations on finding it a new home! Very nice work and the Peruvian walnut back and sides look great. The inlay at the tail end of the back strip is a nice touch.

Thanks, Hesh and JDR! Feels good and gives me some cash to purchase a used drum sander and another set of wood.

Funny you should mention the inlay on the back. A mistake turned into a feature. I routed the binding channel before I put in an end graft (hoping to wrap a purfling strip around the graft), but I forgot to put a filler across the gap for the guide bearing to ride across. So after some head scratching, I pulled out some shell and made a feature.

Cheers to all! You continue to provide inspiration to my builds. Hopefully I can share some insight and inspiration with folks here!
