Last set of body coats tonight. I'll let it sit a few days and then buff it out. Can't wait to see how it looks buffed.

I've been following this schedule....

What buffing compound do you like to use? I have some Menzerna Atol6. Is that too high to follow the Novus with?

I have a long way to go to get that deep shine that Tom achieves, but for the first attempt it came out OK. The Uke is for me. I'm glad I folllowed through. I'm planning to French polish a couple dreads that I'm starting up next month.

Hi all, I'm new here but have been building acoustics for 18 years for fun, I've always only used old cotton T's cut up to to apply the polish but never too wet any more, did that once and after finally getting the hang during one guitar I've been asked if I'm using nitro, sorry I don't have a digital camera so I can't show pics just yet, no they are not expensive and I have had one but got real tired of the tiny buttons and destroyed it. I've been building several electrics over the last years, finished them with FP and now I just got tired of building and I'm just playing them but I will get some pics. The finish's look pretty good, which really means great.
