Does anyone know of a good source for gold wood screws? I once bought a box of #4-3/4" oval phillips head screws that were very useful. I used them for truss rod covers, humbucker pickup rings (I make my own from wood), coverplates, etc. Problem is, I can't remember where they came from. I've been to all the local specialty hardware stores, HD and Lowes, Ebay, StewMac, Amazon, and I can't find them.

There are some Ebay sellers that sell a set of 8 #4-3/4 as well as pickup height adjustment, but that makes no sense. I need to just get a box of 50 or 100 somewhere. Any ideas?

Allparts has most any screw you need for a guitar in any finish you want, small packs and bulk.

Allparts had them. Pretty proud of them though! A buck a piece?!!! That's the bulk price.

Guitarfetish didn't seem to have any screws, unless I was unable to navigate their website.

Thanks!

I get mine from a model/hobby shop over here but I've found these two possibilities for you.

Both seem very cheap and based in the US.

Brian.
