Steve, I thought you guys had regular meetings in east TN. Am I mistaken? As Wud pointed out, some of the guys from Clarksville, TN came this year and I told them to look you up about the East TN thing. We even kicked around the idea of having a fall gathering in TN somewhere and the spring one here. I for one would love to see that happen.

We have a monthly meeting (2nd Sunday at 2PM) at the Knoxville Woodcraft store. We occasionally get some really good builders (Arnold, Dudenbostal, Candino, and a few others) that stop by but I'm not sure the normal membership could combine enough instruments for a show. Maybe if we added in the folks from the Clarksville area. I think it would be a lot of fun.

I suppose it depends on what you consider a "show" and what your goals are. Our show is not really a commercial show off your stuff to potential buyers type thing. It is more hang out with like-minded people and show/talk about your work. I would love to come by your gatherings but Knoxville is a bit out of reach for an afternoon for me. I sure would like to see your stuff though. Based on what I have seen, I would put you in the "really good" camp. . .

Well if you get over this way there's always something to see. Some meetings better than others. Maybe we're doing better than I thought. You and any other luthiers (regardless of experience level) are always welcome! This months meeting got moved till the 26th so next Sunday at 2pm if you're driving through
