Hey guys, I'm running on empty, four hours of sleep are not enough. Those TV folks get up early, plus I had an hour fifteen minute drive.

Me and the host stood on the set beside three fine guitars on stands. My son played an intro into the segment on a Cocobolo / Red Spruce Grand A. Some "in progress guitars" and a braced addy top were shown as I answered the questions posed.

It went well, then Warren played on the way out to their break, over with very quickly, but two emails awaited me at home regarding order inquiry. One guy wanted a Brazilian and Addy Dred Not, another wanted a carbon copy of the Cocobolo and Addy Grand A. Now I gotta have a nap. My wife woke up her brother and he managed to get a VHS tape of the interview. I'll see about making it digital so I can share.

No big deal, It was fun, but getting to share the morning with my wife and son was the best part. If I sell a guitar, well, that'll just be icing on the cake.

That's great news! Especially the orders received so quickly. I've been at this for a couple of years and have only sold one so far.

Best of luck and congratulations

Dave, they were just inquiries regarding guitars. Of course, I've not sold one until at least they inquire, so that's step one. Just when it seems no one will ever want to buy another guitar, some pops up and says, "Hey, build one for me!"

My high school pal did that just last week all the way from Maui. He doesn't even play, but he has two kids that do. I can see them fighting over the Dickey, only one solution, Dad will just have to order another and Koa too....

It sure doesn't hurt to get exposure. That's why Healdsburg and other guitar shows are a good way to go, it puts you in the 'public eye'. I'm even considering a local crafts venue, it's huge, fills the entire coliseum. One sale pretty much pays the cost of the show. Multiple sales, well, now I'm dreaming.

Congrats Bruce. Exposure always helps. My wife gets inquiries all the time when she wears her OLF baseball cap to the Farmers Market. Someday maybe I'll be confident and experienced enough to take their orders. For now, I'll just add to my guitar collection and pass the learning guitars on to friends and deserving kids. Again, congrats and hope the exposure pays off.

Bruce,
That's so exciting. How did that come about? I know that I don't post as much as I should. But I am here a bunch. Anyhow, congrats. I would love to see the video. Keep up the good work----Snick

A co-worker at the school from three years back, turned me in. He just emailed it in, they took it from there. When I put up my website, I sent a link to all my contacts / friends, he evidently visited my site and contacted the station in Little Rock.
