Please forgive me, Ive been a little disconnected lately

I have the rims, bent and (END) block installed.

What next? when and where do I ship this? The last I knew it was going to Paul Wollson, but then I read something about a radius issue on the back?

Some one (Michael ) Please direct me...

Ship the rim to Paul, the back is going to be 12' which Paul has. When finished Paul will ship to Bruce for the top. Bruce has a 25' dish for the top

Okay, we are radiusing the rimset to 25'. That will also radius the neckblock unless glued lower or sanded flat. How do you handle that to get the neck/fretboard rest flat? As in flat upper bout / transverse brace.

Is this neck block extenstion sanded flat across the upper bout? Seems like I've seen some of you guys doing this. I don't have the extension, so it has never been an issue for me before now on this body.

John I will let you confirm this but I do believe the neck every thing past the upper transvers brace is sanded flat.

Michael, right you are. Bruce, if you want, I can profile the top too and flatten the neck block. I've got 25' here.
Question for anyone that wants to answer (probably MP because he drew up the plans) When I put the top foot on the neckblock, I cut the neckblock at my desired neck angle. I figure this out when I draw up my plans. So the question is what angle should this neck be? Ideally? Based on bridge height and action. Thanks P

Ummm? My theoretical back angle is 89.5 or 1.5 deg depending on how you measure based on a 3/8" bridge + 1/16, but Michael Propsum is building the bridge so I not for sure of the thickness he is building to.MichaelP38762.7100347222

you answered your own question.

Actually I glue the block on at 90°. It's thick enough that you can sand it to the needed angle when you profile the sides then sand that area from the soundhole up flat and that is the critical sanding when you take the bridge height into consideration. Of course you already know that, you designed/built the jig.
