Hi All,
I am currently working on my second guitar, which I was able to purchase all of my woods locally, but for the next 2 guitars I am in search of a possible drop top or carved top of some more exotic woods - any other suppliers than our "Sponsors" at the top of this page or is this considered "Blasphemy" lol. Also, I would love to hear others thoughts on total body thickness for an electric 6 string guitar and your ratio with drop tops/carved tops. ie: 1 1/4 mahogany with 5/8" carved top. I have been in design mode of the "Silver Willow" whilst waiting on the return of the Dueling Dragons at the finishers shop....

I'm going to order a number of sets off this site. They seem to have a large selection of good stuff.

I bought four sets so far from Vince. Very helpful and prompt.

It's really just a matter of resigning yourself to pay a little more to buy from someone who knows what you want.

I've done a lots of shopping, sorting, and driving. Once I got a 5A piece of curly maple that yielded two tops for $25. Perfect, tight, even figure......once. But I can't count the number of hours I've spent sorting thorugh piles only to find nothing of value.
