I level-sanded and polished the body for this bass yesterday. The finish is 12 coats of KTM-9 applied with a brush over three coats of epoxy grain filler. I wet-sanded with 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1500, and 2000 3M paper before polishing by hand with StewMac Swirl Remover. The body is Black Swamp Ash. The 5/16" figured maple top plate has a little spalt in it.

The 24-fret neck is curly hard maple - three pieces with Indian rosewood stripes, an Indian RW fingerboard with dice inlays at the 12th fret, and a curly maple overlay on the headstock.

The customer lives in Las Vegas and works for Hard Rock Casino. [:Y:]

My first guess as to where the customer lives would be:

LAS VEGAS!!!

But even if I am wrong, it still looks really good!

Hit the nail on the head. The dice on the fingerboard are a reproduction of the logo on his business card. Ten gold stars for Ziegenfuss!

I shipped the bass yesterday. Hope he likes it!
