I haven't posted anything in awhile, so for whatever it's worth, this came out of the shop a month ago. It's a concert uke with a little more bling than most people here like. Top: red spruce Back/sides/fretboard/head overlay: EIR Neck: mahogany Bridge: cocobolo Binding: koa Purfling: gold MOP/bwb Inlays: white and gold MOP/ebony/dyed veneers Tuners: Gotoh It's braced similarly to a classical guitar with 5 fan braces, the outer 2 of which extend into the neck block. The neck is dovetailed and the head is attached with a "V" joint. The back is "X" braced and 2 upper ladder braces. Craig S.

That's beautiful.  Nicely done theme, without overloading it.  I'm no bling fan, but I don't think this has too much, it is so nicely done.  Great job.

Fantastic work Craig! Would love to hear this one. Never heard of an Adi top on a Uke. Bet it can really sing.

Sorry for taking so long to respond, but the lockdown slowed me down. Thanks for the kind words. Ricardo, I don't have a pic of the back center strip, but it's the same as the tie block on the bridge. Tracy, although it sounds great to me, I can't say it sounds any better than any other decent uke I've ever heard. There's just never enough energy generated in a uke to create as much sustain as in a guitar. I'm no uke player (you can interpret that as "plunk-a-plunk-a-plunk"), so I'd really like to hear it in the hands of a real player. Jake, maybe? Now on to a gold/black walnut banjo and a pau rosa/Englemann jumbo.
