Does anyone know where I can get some black line spalted maple for rosettes and end grafts?

Look in yours or your neighbor's firewood pile. Anyone who burns maple will have lots of spalted maple in firewood. That is where I get mine from. We have salvaged LOTS of it for free. Get a few chunks, resaw it on your bandsaw, sticker it and a year later you will have lots of rosette wood.
