Beautiful John and Honduran rosewood is a fave here.  I really like what you did with the back strip too with the "Y" at the top.

I am sure that they are all getting along fine but yours and Steve's are probably telling mine to shut up often....

They match the HRW really well, but look to have a bit of red in 'em? Bloodwood? More of the rosewood?

It's an elegant guitar! Looks set to receive a pyramid bridge perhaps.

Ah thanks guys. Makes me a proud parent indeed to hear such praise.

Bro those side and back purfs are bloodwood and maple. I was trying to get the color match in the purfling. In fact, the rim of the top is purfled with a broad swatch of bloodwood surrounded by other strips of stuff.

That back Y was necessary to compensate for what I considered a poor mitre joint. I didn't want to rebind the back but just had to redo that joint. Most of my more creative touches are there to hide mistakes.

I forgot to ask how you guys like my new adjustable neck joint? It is very flexable but I am having a hard time finding a piece of bone tall enough to make a saddle.

Another one to drool on!

Well, it has a very industrial look to it...a nice counterpoint to the all-wood theme.
As a plus, there is very little heel to contend with in the upper registers.

Bro my thought was that with the neck hinged where it is a person could have a double guitar. That would include a bridge on the back as well as the top and of course you would have to put a fingerboard on the back of the neck as well. Still looking for a tall saddle.
