How do you reinforce the side where your soundport is cut?
And, do you cut that port with a router and template, or do you CNC it? It sure is clean work!

Thanks guys!

The soundport is reinforced with a maple patch and its cut out totally by hand after the sides a bent, glued together and profiled.All my soundports are freehand as they are one of a kind. I don't make any templates.

I love Claro. If I was not allowed to use any wood be Claro I would still love Claro.

...that is a beauty. I love the soundport and the nicely mayched markers in
the board. Very tasteful. The guitar has a nice undertstated look for all of
the adornment that is on it. I love when that happens.

Thanks Dave and welcome to the forum!

My neck joint is nothing new.... its only a double mortise and tenon bolt on neck. I think there may be a tutorial somewhere in the forum.
