Hi.

I'd like a curly cherry set. You list #3 as
still available, but looking back at the photos,
it looks like its #8.

I'd take either - in fact I'd love qty three total if you
have more available.

Eric

Larry,

Do you also have high quality QS Jumbo sized
non-figured Honduran Mahogany back and side sets
currently available?

Larry,
I will take the other two sets of SP2 Walnut if they are available?

Do you have any Snakewood bindings or Snakewood boards suitable to make bindings from?

Thanks Eric, set 03 is the correct one as Bob had to let it go and Robert Dobbs has 08. I just didn't get back to edit again.

I can provide two more sets if you like. I'll label them flamed cherry sets 09 and 10 same swap meet price of $45.00.

I have the high quality genuine QS mahogany stocks to cut several hundred sets at least, but I have no more time to do cutting before the swap meet ends unfortunately.

Thanks Tim!! I'll add them to your purchases.

I do have some very old, dry snakewood lumber but nothing cut thin for binding that I'm aware of. I've been working out of this stock for many years now and don't buy the log portions as they are always green and high risk not to mention it won't dry in my life time. I cut it mostly for knife handles, but have some cane stock about 1 x 1" square. Pretty expensive stuff and difficult to get much quantity with full snake figure the full 32" length of a whole piece. I'll have a look and get back soon as I can if I have something..Larry

I've developed an allergy to coco bolo and won't be cutting anymore of it.

This timber is:
4.25 x 51 x 7" or 10.5 board feet
$33.00 per board foot
weighs 63 pounds
starts QS on one 7" face and gradually turns to rift on the back side.
been air drying in my shop for over 5 years with ends waxed.
Straight grain
a few shallow surface drying checks here and there
purchased direct and deliverd from Mexico as part of larger shipment

It's the timber marked with the white "X"

Larry and Snick,

I have a slight preference for set 02 of the curly rock, but both are amazing. they look like abstract paintings.

Larry,

You have presented some of best woods I've ever seen. My hat's off to you.

Thank you for working with us this week

Greg

Thanks Greg, this has turned into a lot of fun and become a shop priority the past couple days.

Those spalt sets are consecutive and the main difference might be the naphtha is fresher on set 02 I should have taken a pic of this spalted maple timber on the saw.....12/4 x 23" by 7 feet long.

I could probably come up with some quality QS 1 x 3"+ x 30" maple neck blanks to match from that timber.

Thanks Mike, I'll add it to the neck blanks.

If nobody's claimed those spalted rock curly maple sets (bit vague up there), I'll take both. Or whichever one's left.
