I've got you on the limba list...

I just looked back at everything you've posted so far and the things that you want to offer. I would buy 1 of just about anything that you want to cut, if it's not too expensive (like limbs or internal organs). Hope you can get around to cutting some material for headplates and rosettes.

It's dead QS and the medullary rays interfere with the light refraction off the wave sides which is the source of wavy, curly figure. I have three of these from the same billet.

You got it, Kim..thanks I corrected the set # to I1.

These came up with letter and number designations because the timbers were so wide and long I had to mark where each blank came from and which set came from which blank

Art like the Claro SP2 hasnt been seen since Haight-Ashbury in the 60s. I'm thinkin' about it.

Yeah we pass each other, but we also had a conversation back on the
MIMF a year or two ago about measuring frequency response on wood
billets.  It was going to be a science project for my son...still
might be.

Come on over for coffee!! I just pored my first cup of fresh ground beans and am watching California burn again on the TV    I have a customer in Glendale and every Santa Anna wind his kiln dry wood starts end splitting!!

I dug a bit deeper into the spalt rock maple stock and got pretty excited about looking at it. Found a good sycamore side blank to go with the back blank...it's actually London Plane. Maybe a couple curly bubinga sets. I have some marbled French walnut, but may not get to it either in the two days left. Got some curly Tamo ash (Japanese ash), some fiddleback European ash...we'll see how the day shakes out.

Endless supply of QS genuine mahogany available with some scarf neck blanks cut from the same timber(got about 3,000bf of mahogany in stock)

Laid out some super figured Oregon Myrtlewood last night for cutting.

Lots of Makore and black limba to coordinate with special requests.

Sure, love coffee. This looks like it's going to be a really bad fire. I was in Julian, east of SD in the desert, a few years ago and it sure is hot and dry there. I heard there is no one to fight the fire because everyone is assigned to evacuations.

IFrom what you mentioned, 'd like a bubinga set, a myrtle set, and a figured mahogany set. Probably the marbled french walnut and spalted maple. I would like to see what the sycamore and ash look like.

My custom order list for after the swap meet would include 1 black limba and 1 ziricote.
