The set at the top of the page is still available. It has really great color and figure in the middle and the tap is really nice. Here is a close up of the sides for refererence, the grain is nice and tight.



I won't have any more super spiderwebbed sets, though.

How about $100.00 for the top coco with both side sets?

Joe, give me day or two to think it over. I have another blank to cut a back from and figured I would use whichever sides people didn't want for that. If you want the extra blank included for $120, then that is cool, you could have 2 sets. The other back blank is essentially the same as the first, but has dark straight grain in the center, not the cool in and out. I will post a photo when I get back to Boston tomorrow, I am in Connecticut right now.

Hey guys, I am through with the cutting and have some stuff for you all to OK:

First is Brock's set. I can't believe I am selling this one, it looks nicer than I thought. As shown it is 21 x 7 7/8 but there is some checking on the edges. You will still get a very clean straight joint after removing this and will still have 7+ on the lower bout. A cutoff from the upper and you have a really sweet OM. Sides are 3 15/16 x 31. Here it is









Next up is Kim's set, an almost exact match to the first one Brock snagged. 7 1/4 x 5 1/4 and with the extra piece you can get an OM no problem. Sides are 3 15/16 x 35. Here it is






Here are 2 appointment sets, one for Snick and one for Kim. Whomever posts back first gets to pick first. On the left the fingerboard is 3 3/4 wide and 20 long, the headstock is 3 3/4+ x 10 and the bridge is 7 1/2 x 3. The right is the same except the fingerboard is only 3 wide. Here they are. Binding billets not shown but they are a perfect match and 1/4 x 1 x 39




Last up is the pics of the joints on the first set for Joe. Here are close ups of the upper and lower bouts. I was really careful when joining these to hide the joint and I think it came out pretty good. The lower bout is just about invisible. The bottom of the V of the dark streaks is the joint. The upper bout had one little flare out that I matched the bottoms of so it looks really organic. That is the only giveaway really. here are the pics:






Here is a photo of the other blank another back set could easily be cut from. It measures 4 x 24 x 1. Shown is one side and the end grain






Joe- Am I correct in thinking that you are going to be doing finishes soon? If you will be up and running in the next month or so I would be willing to trade for the equivalent off of a finish job. Poly if you can do it or Nitro or catalyzed are fine too. That would be great if it would work, otherwise money is fine. No pressure, though, if the joint looks bad or you just don't want the set no worries. But I would still like to know if you will be up and running anytime soon.

Burton, You remembered!! Yes, my shop is almost completed. The "c" channel went in today for the ceiling liner and I will be running air lines and dryer tomorrow. It is all wired, rocked, taped and painted! I'm pumped!! I have a new Lennox furnace but am leaning towards Space ray radiant heat (had it in my auto body shop) it is very efficient and safe too. The coco looks darned good up close, you did good on the joints. Both sets look as good? I'm sure we could work out a trade that benefits us both and you could choose nitro or poly.

Joe- That sounds great! I have a guitar that will need a little more than my french polish. Let's assume that I open up the other billet and get a nice joint and send you 2 sets pretty much ready to go. You can pm me with the difference (what I would owe) for a poly job on the body only. I would want more than $120 in trade for joining the second back, but not a ton. Does that sound good?
