These are flatsawn to rift, mostly flat. I re-sawed them two years ago and they are still dead flat with no weight ever put on them. I could never bring myself to cut them in half so will sell them as whole pieces. All three pieces are consecutive cuts.

SOLD SOLD SOLD
Brazilian Rosewood
backs 16 x 46.5" (all .150 thick)
extra piece: 8 x 46.5"
$375.00 for all three pieces

SOLD to Ken Franklin

Looks like the Black Limba sets are all sold, but if anything falls through or if you have any other sets available, let me know by sending a PM and I would be interested.

I'm going out of town tomorrow morning and will return Sunday so I could take care of payment Sunday or Monday.

Hi Larry,

I am interested in the Ceylon Satinwood...please tell me price and availability.  I build classical so size is not as critical.

Thanks so much Ken, I'm sure these BRW pieces will be happy to finally have a good home, grow up and become something. I'll miss having them around and this is the first time they've come out in public. Larry

I'll have to cut it into sets, Shawn and the piece I moved to the shop is QS and nicely figured, but won't know until the timber goes onto the inspection table before it's cut into blanks for resawing. Hopefully they're are no hidden defects or cracks I've overlooked at this point. It was a rather large (by Ceylon Satinwood standards) log we milled ourselves which I purchased from a large veneer import company a few years ago. It's in the que, but not be ready for a day or so. QS Ceylon Satinwood sets, when available are quite expensive, but I'd mark these around $150.00 for the swap meet.
Hot diggedy dog!  Larry, just pick me out a nice set of the black limba then and slap my name on it.  If one set happens to have that nice red flame like Kim's set that is what I would prefer, but if not no biggie. I won't be online for a while and I don't want to miss out on the next batch you post. Thanks!
You have black limba set 05, David..thanks!!!

Larry,

Is Claro Walnut DB still available. It's not marked sold and haven't seen it mentioned in any messages.

Thank you,
Greg

Thanks for pointing it out, Greg. It is saved for you, but I can't seem to make the edit marking it "SOLD" in the thread. I'll keep trying later to mark it proper.
