supposed to give a shimmer sound.

I know it gives a creepy look...

....especially when you least expect it...

I have an extra, came off a Timber Rattler that got a little too close to my wheelbarrow, and my ten year old.... 52 inches, six rattles, tasted great with beer.

Thanks Bruce.

Do they just throw it in the box or do they tie it somewhere?

Awesome guitars...I'm a dread lover, unashamed...and a bluegrass fanatic!   Wayne Benson???? Holy schmoly...Wayne rules.

Your guitars are gorgeous. I'll take the sunburst, please.

Stick around; we newbie dread lovers can learn a thing or two from you.

Bill

PS: I'm in North Carolina, not too far from you.

Hello, Bill.  Glad to see somebody from near here, and it's fascinating to see people here from as far away as Australia and the UK!

You ever hear of a band in NC named Constant Change?  Their guitar player, Dan Wells, is a friend of mine...he has a Tucker herringbone dread with abalone snowflakes in the FB and bridge.  If you don't know these guys, track em down. They play some great traditional bluegrass.  He used to tour with the James King band, and I think they opened for Ralph Stanley in Goldsboro a month or so ago.

Wayne Benson played one of Dad's mandos until he went big and Gibson approached him.  I remember meeting him one time when he came by my Dad's for a visit, and I could never figure out how a guy with fingers as big as his could play anything but a doghouse bass...but he can! Impressive.

Welcome to the forum, Brad. I love dreads, too, and mondos. Your work looks great.

Where in this country are you located?

Ron

Welcome to the forum Brad!! If ol Dad is in Hoboken, he's practically next door! Hoboken is only 30 mins or so from here in Hilliard, Florida. My Grandpappy used to turpentine the pine trees up in Hoboken.

If you're down this way, please stop in for some coffee!

I talked to him this morning, and he is in Dublin this week, Hoboken next week.  We live next door to each other, in Wilkes County, GA.  It's about 35 miles east of Athens, and an hour west of Augusta, north of I-20.  I guess you could call it north GA, but barely.  At least I am above the gnat line, but I think it's coming north; chasing the fire ants and armadillos

I really appreciate the compliments on the guitars.
