So, the challenge has finished and only 2 people (me and Theo) have made an entry.
Perhaps it is unnecessary to make it into a competition?
I don't really want to win or loose under these conditions.
I suggest that we don't vote and Theo and I split the prize between us as a token that we made the effort to make an entry.

OK, I feel really silly- I got mixed up with UK and USA time. I quess it's not over until Mat Bouchie sings. He piped in at the last minute of USA time with a really excellent entry.
It's really a pity there are not more entrants.
I still suggest that we divide the prizes so that everyone goes home happy?

When I sing, most people not only leave the room, they leave the party altogether. So, yes, when I sing, it really is over! I promise the recordings will be instrumental. And hopefully played by a guy who isn't a hack guitarist like me. I did this because it's fun to build along at the same time as others and the deadlines help motivate me. I'm not overly concerned about winning or losing so whatever is decided is fine with me. Besides, when it's played on stage at the Peter Mulvey show tomorrow night, I'll be happy as can be!

It wouldn't bother me at all to split, I'm game to play however we want to do it. I'm pretty stoked to have made the top 3 in such a fine group of builders :D

I think it's pretty neat too that we all had such success and were able to keep to the theme of the challenge using regional woods, great work guys [:Y:]

Wish I could change the title of this thread to "Lovely end to the challenge".
I agree with the sentiments above. I really enjoyed this build and that enough in it's self. Lets leave it up to Jaybird to decide how to progress but I would be happy to split the prizes into:
top
back and sides
finger board etc.

whoever wins gets first pick etc.
Whatever happens I'm happy.

OK Guys, that sounds more than fair to me. Spend a couple of weeks getting them settled in and set up well, and then lets shoot for soundclips no later than Dec. 1. Splitting the prizes is fine by me. We will take the poll results and let the winner have first pick, etc. Congratulations on some fine instruments, gentlemen!!
