No plan yet, but I do have a cedar body blank ready to glue up, and I've had my eye on some Florida rosewood for a while, so I may just have to use some of that. I'm thinking a simple electric, maple neck, maple top, cedar body, simplicity is key.
I guess I'll have top put this one on hold for a while.

Now that I've officially joined the challenge, I figure I should introduce myself.
Many of you may know me from TDPRI and SS.org. For those of you who don't know me, my name is Josh (in case you didn't read my username), I'm 15 years old, and I've built ( started a whole bunch, haven't finished very many) a few guitars, all electric though.
I've ironed out most of the specs for this one. It's going to be very similar (construction wise) to the ebony topped thinline I'm building, so you'll probably see quite a few pictures for that one also.

Yep. Florida Rosewood, which my local lumber yard conveniently sells in the form of a fretboard blank.

It actually looks alright,too!

The bottom blank is for this one. 5 pieces, the lighter wood is maple, and the darker one is some local wood, which I forget the name of (I think it starts with a C) and is very similar to Mahogany. The blank will be glued tomorrow, I probably have enough glue, but it probably isn't a good idea to assume something like that.

With the proposed fretboards

I'll be using these Lace Aluma-90s. I bought them as replacements for my last build, but they weren't a direct drop in, so there going in this build.

Then I started the joy of fret slotting *sarcasm*.
