Hi guys Im in the middle of restoring an older built guitar i made that didnt quite fully survive harvey the hurricane. The salt and moist air didnt do it any good at all. Any way i ended up needing to refinish the top of my guitar. Its a curly maple flat top hybrid with a one of kind body design. Ive been using brush laquer for my own reasons and almost have the laquer flat. Im using a good hair type brush but i cant seem to get it done with out a brush stroke or two to my dismay. So im wondering if it would be possible to sand the laquer flat again and instead of brushing the last coat or two if i can spray it over the brushed laquer. |

Yes, if it is the same brand and type of lacquer. |
