Second time this week conchoidal fracture in these crappy poly finishes. One when VERY carefully removing the nut and the other when a fret needed a simple tap and the poly finish at the end of the fret cracked and chipped off. Nothing wrong with venting. At least you slip into geology terms instead of bad language.

At least they are relatively easy to fix! But still... Grrrr And BTW this was on a Hofner Bass and the finish was literally 1/16th inch thick or more. |
