We're going through espresso steamers at an alarming rate, and I'm thinking there must be a better way. What are your solutions for supplying the steam needed for removing necks when doing resets? I'd like to find something that's capable of storing enough pressure that the resulting steam doesn't include lots of water like we get with our cheapo Vesubio steamers. I used to prowl Salvation Army and Goodwill stores for those little Shark steamers sold to clean bathrooms and kitchens. |

I've used pressure cookers for years. Never been inclined to use anything else. Pat |

I use one of these and have been very happy. It cost more but is much better (the steam is much drier) than the old expresso machine I had previously. I got the idea from a luthier who was using it to reheat hide glue to put the backs/tops on basses. I have used it to do the same on guitars as well as to remove necks. Life here improved immediately after we bought a serious steamer it's a "Reliable" and it is reliable. Boiler maintains 50 p.s.i. so the steam is hotter and drier. Do a search for Reliable 5000CJ - spend the money - you'll be glad you did: https://reliablecorporation.com/collect ... aner-i500a |
