I bought one of the Audere 4 (http://www.audereaudio.com/jazz-4b-black.html) and installed it this morning. OMG!!! This thing must have at least doubled the output. And the tone control I have now is amazing! It literally took only 20 minutes to change (that includes chasing down a tiny screw driver). I know there are several reviews of these units with aftermarket pickups, but I wanted to see what it did with stock MIM style pickups. I'm terribly impressed with the quality of the pots and the build. If you have a customer looking for an inexpensive upgrade, it's tough to beat $109 and 20 minutes of time. |
