Thanks Chris! I forgot to ask one last thing. When i screw the neck back, i have to screw it VERY tight? Or just tight? It's the first time doing this and dont want to broke something! Sorry for this newbie kind of question but i really want to do it correctly! |

Do not make it very tight. Make sure to engage all 4 screws into the neck and then tighten each a few turns at a time. When it finally seats no more than 1/4 to 1/3 turn more should do it. |

Please do post some pics of the refinish as well as the products and methods you used. As far as the neck is concerned, when you put it all back together and string it up you'll want to do a complete setup which will deal with both the relief and the geometry relative to the body, but it won't hurt it a bit to be off the guitar. |
