Seems to have a small leak in the under carriage area. Can't point it out yet but don't really have much experience messing with these. Anyone have any previous working knowledge of one I can call on if I get in a jam? Thanks. Some pics.

I repaired the bellows by using glue and thin leather. While expanding it fully and working one side at a time laying down a pattern to over lap. If one is looking for this open the underside and look in the corners. The hide patches may have dried and the corners pulling up. If hide has holes in it create new patch over the whole piece with thin leather (lamb skin). If only the corners then one can use smaller sections and overlap the areas where needed. (Use incense smoke or something to pinpoint small leaks)

The next leak is not within the air cavity but from the columns through to the key mechanisms. I'm looking at replacing the felt for better compression. Reeds all good at this point.

If any one has info? :)

Will update if I find solutions for future reference of others.

Doe's the lever on the front switch the overall key of the instrument?
(Like a guitar capo)

@ Hesh
Thanks , it sat in the corner for a month or two before i started to look up info and research it. It's been wild since its a totally different animal from guitars.

@ Wud
When i saw the top hatch opened, those were my thoughts as well. So many key mechanisms... after some hours of research i realized the first problem was a part of the instrument i could not access easily. Then managing some screws here and there i found the bellows underneath which is like 2 big accordion flaps.

@dzsmith
That is exactly what that does, but instead of only capoing up it can also transfer keys downward. Which is a very cool ideas if say i can only play a song in G and one needs it lower. This Harmonium seems to be built a little more on the higher end for that as well as other features that more common of the run harmoniums have. Although i have only personally seen under 10, on the web it seems that is so.

Now i just have to find this last compression leak and pin it down. Kind of afraid to start moving the keys out of the way. Thanks for comments nevertheless.
