Attachment: P1000434 (600x600) (550x550).jpg This is the back of an old recording King archtop that I am fixing.On advice from members here there will be no "refinishing" but I want to do something to protect and stabilise the back which is way worse than the front. Any suggestions welcome. |

Carefully re-wetting the finish with a retarder or a retarder solvent blend will often help. Though I must admit that looks pretty far gone and may still flake quite a bit even after that. |
