Post subject:  Reset on Laminated neck

Theres are a couple of pics on the building forum of an archtop Im planning to fix.
It needs a reset but has a Laminated neck..
Anyone have experience of this? did the steam unglue the neck Lams?

Archtop necks are tougher to steam out than flat tops. I recently did a Hofner bass and there was some slight separation of the laminated and stacked heel.

I decided to go for it
all went pretty well...i was a bit concerned as this was a laminated back also

The back was fine, the tenon had split a bit but glued back up well...nothing too pretty in there
There was a "truss" rod of sorts in there also!
