No cauls under the vise grips? Did they leave any impressions? And what a great idea, rather than the usual clamps. They provide much better clearance, and should be easier to clean up around. |

No , the swivel pad vise grips very seldom leave a mark unless you are really getting nuts with pressure and thats not necessary anyway |
