Bubinga back and sides $40 Sitka top $15 top was used for packing on some tops I purchased a year ago, extra pieces, so I used shipping cost for value . neck , fretboard, bindings , bridge , linings ,etc will be cut from board stock I have acclimated.....$30 bucks or so |

That soundboard says "No charge" on it. You paid the shipping for the wood you bought. Packing material has no value in my mind. Just something to think about if you get too close to your budget limit. I don't think anyone would have a beef with packing material having no value. |

got most of the bending done, including the bindings as well...I am using solid linings so I bend the individual pieces , glue the laminates then rebend to the final shape...…the soundboard braces are leftover adi spruce... |

I should have no problem with cost , most everything is being made from leftovers or boards I have , and I did get some of those cheap Chinese tuners, like 4 sets about a year ago, and you definitely get what you pay for ..stuff is junk, at about 7 bucks per set they are overpriced!! I will most certainly get rid of those once the build is completed.....having fun though...soundboard will have my sweep carbon fiber bracing , and will be a 13 fret OM style, probably with a soundport…along with a compensated nut and saddle, using a Gore inspired nut machining jig for the nut...hopefully I will have it completed on time...Darn Full time gets in the way of my building time!!!!! |

Nothing like spending a whole sunday watching TV and "loofering" as my better half puts it!! Got the soundhole doubler glued on, and the bridge plate and carbon fiber epoxied on, along with getting the fretboard cut, binding installed , and fretmarkers … |
