I suppose he could take a drive up to Upstate NY.... Buy himself a good looking 2x4 at a BORG up in the mountains.... Perhaps you could call that an "Adirondack" 2x4..... and there you go!

Todd - I figure you might know - what type of spruce is commonly found at the BORG around here ?
I picked up some pretty nice brace stock there and I am happy with it - but I wanted to know what exactly it was or has a high probability of being, it's got a nice milky white color - not pine, hem, or fir.

So Todd and Chris - you think the spruce we find up here in HD is Adi for the most part ?
