I cut the tail end of my OM yesterday and cut out a piece of Ivroid to
fit. Tapered of course. When I placed the Ivroid in the end I was shocked
to discover it was much thinner then the side rosewood. Now I either use
a scraper and cut down sides or ??? Could I add a second layer of the .060
Ivroid and will they glue up good? Then use a scraper to level things?
Mad at myself for not looking at thickness in the first place.
Help.

PS Sorry to be on the wrong forum, Im new here
What kind of glue to keep these two pieces of Ivroid together???
This is an added question.

Sure, you can glue in two layers. Scuff the surfaces up for the glue to get a good grip.

By the way, you should post these kind of questions in the Guitar Building Forum.
