For my next build, I want to make an octave mandolin. It will be used to play Irish / Celtic music, and I intend it to be used as a gig instrument. So it will be played in loud rooms, lots of noise. So, I want to add a pickup, and would like one with a volume control. Anyone have suggestions as to what would work best for this?
