Wanting to learn to build a Ukulele. Looking on web for class and not finding too many. Jay Lichty used to teach but he's stopped. Any recommendations? |

Hana Lima 'La teaches in Hawaii and they sell the class book. And plans. I buy parts from them for my ukulele builds. Also, Kathy Matsushita has a terrific webpage and documents several ukulele builds. A great resource. If you can build a guitar, you can build a ukulele. GAL also sells plans, as do a few others. I have a link on my page that goes to a whole bunch of videos we made on making ukuleles on youtube tomistrings.com .also mya- moe has many videos on youtube about uke building.I do not currently teach.Hopefully if I ever get the right workspace, we will. |
