For a mandolin with a guitar style bridge with a conventional saddle, I want to use this under saddle pickup: http://www.amazon.com/Belcat-UK-400T-Uk ... B0095SFD32

And also use a blade style guitar pickup on a mandolin and be able to use a blend knob for selection between the two systems. I want to use the output jack that comes with the Belcat pickup for both pickups.

It's boggling my brain a little bit trying to decide how to approach this. But I think it should in theory actually be relatively simple.

Any thoughts or tips?

For my bouzouki with guitar style bridge I just picked up a K&K TwinSpot. Have yet to install it let alone test it but I am impressed with K&K pickups in general.

I have seen preamps on ebay that allow for both.
