This is my Pear Shape ukulele. This is the eighth one I have built. The sides and back are quarter-sawn cherry. Top is Sitka spruce. The neck is cherry with a maple lamination. Bridge and finger board are walnut.

Thanks for the kinds words. I have another cherry ukulele similar to this nearly completed. The cherry does work nice and sands very smooth. The only drawback might be the little more weight in the neck. |
