I have finished the padauk build ( less pick guard ) I have strung it up and played it and I am very happy with the sound she makes . Here are a few pics of the Mando . I have some minor cleaning to do and a couple tweeks . But for all intents and purposes its done . Cool, but it looks like the eff holes and the bridge location are about an inch off. Just kidding! |

So cool... can't wait to play it. I bet you can make it sound like a chuggin' train with that voluminous chamber. |

Hey Wud, what are the dimensions of that box (lower bout, length, depth. . .) and how does that compare to your other mandolas? |

Lower Bout 10-1/2" Upper Bout 7-3/4" Body Length 15" Thickness 2" 14th fret Mounted Mandola Fret Board so you are two frets longer than a standard Mandolin. You can do some research on Mandolinetto's and you will see alot of comparison from early century This is basic design Ive used , changing F holes , or Oval sound hole , slight thickness diffrence etc: |
