I have 1924 Gibson A Model, but it has grover replacement tuners. Does any one have a source for original tuners? I believe this had square plate tuners.

Here is a picture of the current tuners

I was looking for original tuners, but the vintage mandolin parts market isn't very big.

From what I can tell there were 3 types of tuners used on A models. The stewmac tuners are the arrowheads, and would probable be found on a higher end model, like an A4. It looks like there aren't many options for replacments so the stewmacs may have to do.

EBay or the vintage dealers may be your only resort if you want originals. I have seen like items come up from time to time. I guess it depends on your timeframe.
