Post subject:  Inlay on head stock .

I would like to know if anyone in the forum does inlay work that hires out their talents to do so for others . I would like to have some inlays in my head pieces , however its not an area that really intrest me to learn . Maybe some day ,but for now , anyone want to do some inlay work? idunno

Do you use headstock overlays? I'm sure there are people out there that would inlay head plates for you which would be much cheaper then sending the entire instrument or neck....Mike

Sorry , thought i was clear . Thats what i want to do . Inlays on a head plate [:Y:]

James,

Bob Garrish, of the forum, does inlay headplates. He uses a cnc process and it is economical if you order many. He can produce just the inlay pieces or produce them and add to your or his headplate stock.

Make sure you get your headstock logo refined. Once he gets your graphic in the computer, it is more $ to change it.

He was part of our Colorado Luthiers before he went to the dark side and moved east. He did some very nice work for me.
