I'm very happy to find a forum dedicated to building/repairing instruments. I've done my share on ultimateguitar, sevenstring, jemsite, but its great to finally find a group not consumed with pickup versus postings.
Ok down to business.
This mandolin just fell into my lap to be repaired and since I don't have that much experience with acoustic instruments I think this is the place to ask advice on the repair of the back of this.
I was told that it happened because of humidity and time...yeah right someone droped or smack the hell out of this thing.
Besides the damage its in really good shape, if anyone has any info about "C. BRUNO & SON, INC. the family would really like that as well.
